The Chardham Yatra is a popular Hindu pilgrimage that includes a visit to the four most sacred sites in India: Badrinath Kedarnath Gangotri and Yamunotri. The yatra usually takes place between April and October when the weather is most favorable. Many pilgrims choose to walk the entire route which can take up to two weeks. Others travel by car or bus.
